A Night To Give Back at Shinola
Upcycle Bikes invites you to a private and complimentary experience hosted at Shinola, a uniquely Detroit lifestyle brand. Learn more about Upcycle Bikes, enjoy light bites and drinks, and browse the store’s latest products, including watches, handbags, jewelry, and other lifestyle goods.
Plus, 20% of all proceeds from the evening will go toward supporting Upcycle Bikes’ mission.

Resolution Run 2025
Upcycle Bikes will be participating in the 43rd annual Resolution Run at Reeds Lake this year! The 6.4k (4-mile) run takes place on New Year’s Eve and is a fun way to close out the year. Upcycle Bikes will be onsite collecting donations of bikes and bike parts such as reflectors, saddles, and grips. Please stop by our tent at Big Bob’s Pizza to say hello or drop off a donation between 11am and 3pm!
Baker Book House Bike Drive
Upcycle Bikes depends on adult bike donations from the community. Now is the time to clean out and make an impact with that old or unused adult bike. Drop it off at the Baker Book House, and our team will give your bike a new purpose and a new life. It will become a primary transportation tool for someone working to build stability in their life.
Baker Book House will have coupons available for 25% off a single item (excluding their cafe and bargain section) to whoever donates a bike to Upcycle Bikes’ cause, along with some drink specials for the event!

Pedals for Progress 2025
A bike has the power to move its rider toward a destination; a bike provided at no-cost to someone who needs it has the power to move its rider toward independence, opportunity, and connection to resources. At Upcycle Bikes, a bike is more than a bike; it’s a lever for progress.
Join us at Pedals for Progress 2025 on Thursday, September 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Goei Center to celebrate the progress made by individuals building stability in their lives with affordable transportation; reflect on our collective progress as a growing organization and community resource; and invest in the future progress through continued impact.
