Pedals for Progress 2024
Just after celebrating Upcycle Bikes’ second anniversary, we gathered with 230 supporters from across the community for Pedals for Progress 2024 on September 18 at Embassy Suites.
The annual fundraising event was an opportunity to share the stories of our distribution partner organizations and bike recipients; recognize our collective achievements; and invite friends new and old to join in our work to strengthen independence, opportunity, and connection through affordable and accessible transportation.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors and donors, we achieved our fundraising goal for the event and received a matching grant from BAI Foundation. This support will help us to refurbish and distribute more bikes to individuals with financial constraints in our community.
As we shared from the stage, "Thank you all for being the spokes in our wheels. You keep us true and you keep us rolling!"
