2025 Upcycle Bikes Ride Team
Upcycle Bikes provides greater access to community resources by donating bikes to individuals with financial constraints.
The Ride Team promotes community integration by fostering participation in and around Grand Rapids. Staff and clients from several of our partner organizations come together to ride as one team in recognition of the transportation challenges and needs around our region.
Members of the Ride Team join other riders and organizational supporters. Together we will ride in the KeyBank Gran Fondo on June 21st, 2025. Upcycle Bikes provides a team captain, team organization, event registration, and a team t-shirt. Bikes and helmets are also provided if needed. Team members just show up, engage, and have fun!

2024 Ride Team
In 2024, the Upcycle Bikes Ride Team began by participating in the KeyBank Gran Fondo, Grand Rapids’ signature cycling event of the year. The event activates our streets and brings individuals together downtown as one big community. Participation in “The Big Ride” and epic finish line festival is a fun and collaborative experience that’s not to be missed!

The Upcycle Bikes Ride Team included over 30 staff members and clients from several of our distribution partners. Together we enjoyed riding, smiling, and sharing with all of you!
